With our Easter offering we collected $10,000 to support a wall build with Habitat for Humanity and now its time to build the walls! What is a Wall Build?  A Wall Build is an event held in coordination with Habitat for Humanity to build all of the interior and exterior wall panels for a new Habitat for Humanity home.  Habitat for Humanity through the sponsorship of the church provides all of the building materials and professional supervision for this event.  The event is held onsite at the church in the parking lot. Everyone will need to fill out a waiver prior to the build, which can be forund HERE
 
 
 
Friday Serving Opportunities





Friday Night 4:30-7:30pm : Lumber cutting and labeling 6-8 Volunteers, ages 18+


2-3 people comfortable operating power saws/cutting accurate measurements within 1/16’’
2-3 people who can help label the 2x4’s
2-3 people who can carry 2x4’s to the appropriate piles

Saturday Serving Opportunities





Build Leaders 8am-1pm Lunch Provided, ages 18+ Arrive 1 hour early for training. These volunteers should have a basic understanding of framing or be open to be trained.

Build Event Volunteers : 9am-1pm Lunch Provided 


No prior experience necessary. Children ages 10 and up with parental supervision are welcome to be a part. Each team will work in groups of 4-7 and build 3-6 wall sections (dependent upon number of volunteers).

Sunday Serving Opportunities





6-8 Delivery Volunteers -Sunday 12:30pm-2:00pm 


This group will load the wall at the church and then follow the Habitat truck and help unload walls at the worksite or the Habitat warehouse.
