First, feed the children. (Mark 7:27) Come and help feed God’s children during the summer lunch program. There are several ways that you can get involved! Food prep - at your convenience you can help with bagging cookies, veggies, fruits, counting out bags of chips, etc the team prepares the food to be taken to the different locations. Serve Our Children 11:30-1:30pm, at one of 2 local schools ( Royal Manor, and Goshen Elementary). Your lead person will pick up the food and bring it to the school. Styrofoam box lunches will be filed at your school as needed. We will need 6-7 people at each school (must be 12 years or older to serve at the schools). If you’d like to set up your own team, please let us know and we will work together to get that going. Clean up 1:00-2pm Stonybrook’s Kitchen, it should be a very light clean up as only items such as serving spoons, trays, etc. are returned to the church kitchen. (3 adults). Servants working directly with the children will need to be background checked and have safe sanctuary in place which will be taken care of by Stonybrook.
